About the artist –

The originator of these works is a mild-mannered, contemplative, middle-aged man with a background in the arts, business, and education. From his small studio in the Chicago suburbs he creates and frames the work then carefully packs each item for shipping himself.

This endeavor began by his creating one-of-a-kind anecdotal gifts for family and friends. One recipient, an artist himself, thought the items to be of sufficient quality to be offered for sale at local art fairs. The response and sales were in fact so good that the endeavor warranted expansion through the Internet.

I know what you're thinking. If these pieces are that outstanding why are they so inexpensive? The answer is simple. The personal touch required to create each piece with quality makes it impractical to utilize any standard assembly procedures. This necessity helps to keep prices low. First, there is no need to pay employees to assist in the manufacturing process. Furthermore, the creation, assembly, and packing, of the works are done at the artist's home studio, so there is no need to rent office or warehouse space. Accordingly, this lack of overhead produces cost savings that are passed on to the customer.
